A while ago, I spent a weekend in Hungary at Lake Balaton. Although Hungary is a bordering country of Austria, I have to confess that I have seen very less of this beautiful country so far. But that definitely has to change in the future …
Within a day, we drove once around the entire lake and could experience all its different landscapes. My favorite places were the castle of Szigliget and Tihany on the north coast. If you are interested in traditional Hungarian architecture and handcrafts, you should spent some time there.
And at the end of the day we have been rewarded with a breathtaking sunset.
