As you know, I love traveling and of course taking pictures. During daytime, it’s quite predictable how a taken picture will turn out. At night and with longtime exposure, there can sometimes still be a little surprise. There are so many factors which need to fit together perfectly and therefore can turn out wrong – the light, reflection, clouds, movement,… Capturing time in just one single frame is definitely not easy! I often need to take several pictures of the same situation because I’m not satisfied with the first results.
In San Francisco, I spotted several location for my shootings at day and then spend several nights out taking pictures. Most of the places have already been mentioned in other blog posts:
- Ghirardelli and Fisherman’s Wharf
- Up at Lombard street
- Along the Embarcadero at Pier 1
- San Francisco Bay Bridge
- Golden Gate Bridge
- China Basin and AT&T Park
- Potrero Hill
